OUR LEADERSHIP
Working to expand and represent the Virginia High School Democrats and provide resources to all local chapter is the State Executive Board. The Board consists of the elected Chair and Vice-Chair along with the Programs Director, Communications Director, Political Director, and Membership Director. The State Regional Cabinet, the immediate past chair, and VAHSD members who serve on the HSDA National Committee and VAYD Executive Committee are ex-officio members on the State Executive Board.

Jack George, a junior at Henrico High School, serves as the Chairman of the Virginia High School Democrats. Based in the Richmond Area, Jack previously served as an Interim Vice-Chair and Outreach Director. Since freshman year, Jack has worked tirelessly to advocate for progressive policies that affect young people. He has experience lobbying at the local, state and national level for multiple bills and legislative proposals. Aside from political activism, Jack serves as Class President of his school, a Scholar for the Richmond Forum, and a member on TEAMEnough’s Policy Team. Jack is motivated to drive meaningful change for high schooler across every region of the Commonwealth of Virginia and looks forward to help high school students find a voice in our political landscape.
